All our unique Hereke silk carpets are delivered with a guarantee of quality and origin. The certification will be effected by an independent Hereke silk carpet expert who is officially appointed, sworn and licensed by the Chamber of Commerce in Berlin, Germany.


Who is an officially appointed and sworn expert?

There are a lot of experts or appraisers in Germany cause this title is not exclusively protected by law. The result is that anybody can be a so-called expert even he is not well qualified. Therefore it is required by the German law to order an officially appointed and sworn expert who is licensed and particularly characterised by his objectivity, impartiality, independence, accuracy and reliability.

Only specialists with an excellent professional and personal qualification were selected by an extensive procedure with comprehensive examination in result to ensure the special ability of an expert. Therefore the officially appointed and sworn experts are accepted and mandated by court, authorities and insurance companies.


Which are the tasks of an officially appointed and sworn expert?

In their special range of activity they serve private or legal orders, issue certificates, expertises, operate in specialised consulting service as well as in controlling of observing rules and legislative provision. Due to their independence and impartiality the officially appointed and sworn experts are preferentially mandated by court, authorities, insurance companies and private individuals.
