General Terms and Conditions

Following below mentioned general terms and conditions are valid for the business relation between


(here later named h-s-c.com) and buyer/customer.


The order to be placed at h-s-c.com electronically by an order form or by e-mail. h-s-c.com confirms the receipt of order by e-mail. The order is accepted by h-s-c.com after effected communication of bank details to buyer/customer for payment by e-mail. The contract is concluded and valid as soon as the payment amount is credited on h-s-c.com-account. Then h-s-c.com informs buyer/customer about order number and delivery time by e-mail (= order confirmation). h-s-c.com ships the ordered carpet to buyer/customer by courier service. h-s-c.com is not longer bound to the contract if buyer/customer has not paid the agreed order amount within 10 days or the amount has not been credited on h-s-c.com-account within 10 days after h-s-c.com did communicate their bank details (=acceptance of order) to him.


For delivery within Germany including VAT count by law. For delivery outside Germany excluding VAT, but possibly with additional customs duty. Freight charges are always included.


Shipment by any international Courier Service.

Delivery to postbox is not possible.


The buyer/customer will be informed about delivery time upon acceptance of order by h-s-c.com by e-mail.
The delivery time starts upon receipt of payment resp. the payment amount has been credited on h-s-c.com-account.


We guarantee that the delivered carpets were hand-made/knotted and correspond to description according to h-s-c.com-website. Each delivered carpet is accompanied by a certificate of originality duly signed by an expert officially appointed and sworn by Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Berlin, Germany.


Payment in advance directly to h-s-c.com- account. The buyer/customer has to mention order number (given by h-s-c.com) with his payment to enable h-s-c.com a correct correlation.

If buyer is already h-s-c.com-customer, h-s-c.com offers him payment made by direct debit but provided, that he makes sure, his account is balanced to cover the order value. In case customer’s account is not covered, all bank fee which may occur are at customer’s cost and h-s-c.com reserves the right not being longer bound to the contract.


The prices by h-s-c.com include following service outside of Germany:

• Hereke silk carpet,
• Certificate of Quality/Originality duly signed by an expert for Hereke silk carpets officially appointed and sworn by Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Berlin, Germany.
• Delivery by Courier Service directly to buyer’s/customer’s address except to postboxes
• Invoicing without VAT but including customs duty which may occur. Customs duty to be advised to buyer/customer by h-s-c.com-order confirmation and commercial invoice by e-mail.

With placing an order, buyer/customer provides with personal data and confirms that h-s-c.com is authorized to retain/record and to use the data to meet its obligations only. h-s-c.com is documenting all correspondence with buyer/customer to be able to do the service the buyer/customer expects.

h-s-c.com never hands over any buyer’s/customer’s personal data to third person. Buyer/customer is authorized to inspect his personal data according to existing Data Protection Act. In case any incorrect or incomplete data has been recorded in the system, buyer/customer has the right to claim for correction or deletion. Contact: kundendienst@hereke-silk-carpet.com.


Guarantee period: One year after date of delivery

In case of any complaint by buyer/customer during this period and it is obvious that the defect has been effected by extraneous cause, all cost for repair are on buyer’s/customer’s account. The independent expert officially appointed and sworn by Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Berlin, Germany will have to decide if the defect/damage was caused by manufacturer or by extraneous cause after delivery to buyer/customer.

Freight charges are on buyer’s/customer’s account in any case of guarantee.


Buyer/customer is allowed to cancel the order by e-mail within 14 days after date of delivery. h-s-c.com will refund the paid amount to buyer/customer under following conditions:

• The Hereke silk carpet has to be in good and unchanged condition, that means unused and in brand new condition like just bought in a carpet shop. If the condition of carpet may evidence any change for the worse, h-s-c.com has the right to demand compensation from buyer/customer. Buyer/customer can avoid this by not treating the carpet as its owner.
• The Hereke silk carpet has to be returned in its original packaging.
• Buyer/customer has to send the Hereke silk carpet to expert officially appointed and sworn by Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Berlin, Germany by Courier Service for appraisal.
• The expert confirmes that Hereke silk carpet is in undamaged and in good condition

All charges, which may occur for shipment of carpet from buyer/customer to expert by Courier Service for proof, appraisal and shipment from expert to h-s-c.com-store are on buyer’s/customer’s account.

This money back guarantee is only granted for shipments within EU to private persons and not to business customers.


In case of any failure in delivery e.g. wrong shipped carpet or wrong shipped quantity, buyer/customer has to inform h-s-c.com by e-mail under kundendienst@hereke-silk-carpet.com within two days after receipt of goods - otherwise the complaint will not be accepted.


Visible damage of box or packaging has to be indicated to Courier Service in written form immediately by receipt of goods. Hidden damage has to be indicated to Courier Service immediately after recovery in written form. Contemporary h-s-c.com has to be informed additionally by e-mail under kundendienst@hereke-silk-carpet.com.


In case the buyer/customer refuses the goods or Courier Service can not reach the consignee and the goods will not be picked up at Courier Service afterwards, h-s-c.com will invoice freight charges with additional fee amounting to EUR 45,- for occured efforts to buyer/customer.
